i love this episode. my favorite one of all. i love how it shows lucys soft side at the end when she introduces holt to her mother. its really sweet. i dont think though, that the series should have ended this way. they should have had a better ending. something to leave us satisfied at least. the series in all shoulnt have ended, but it did. they did a good job on the two seasons though. for sure one of my favorite shows! courteney cox is an amazing acctress, she can change her characters so well. she went from monica to lucy so well.moreless
  • UNFORTUNATELY, THE ABOVE IS TRUE!

Had so much potential but was cancelled. Maybe it was too ahead of its time or maybe people didnt understand the show. What other reason would there be for low ratings. Anyway, for a normal episode this was pretty good. Two deaths and Brent's erection upon death is hilarious. His own death turned him on Haha!!! Then Lucy's mother dies and we see some emotion from the ice queen. Willa and Farber are dirrrrrty. Love em. But Willa crossed the line with Farber's friend but I suppose she is a reporter. Holt and Lucy are finally a proper couple cue the next episode should be where they go public and they become DirtNow's next cover! That would be great. One can dream...moreless
  • The 2nd season were short, but I just love it, Lucy and Holt are so great together

I really really like it, Dirt is one of my favorite TV shows. The cast is amazing and I have to say that Lucy and Holt's love story is beautiful, They are my favorite couple at all. Courteney Cox and Josh Stewart are doing so great together, I think they're a really nice couple. The 2nd season were shorter than the 1st, but I think that the 2nd were so much better (soo much). Anyway, I just LOVE IT, can't wait for the 3rd season, I hope be with 13 episodes like the 1st season, but amazing just like the 2nd. =)moreless
  • Pretty good for an episode, but disappointing for a season finale.

    7.5
Death in the Office: In the last episode, we saw Brent spending the night in this car. It would already have been safe to assume that he had suffocated in his car, but we get the official word this episode. A funeral is thrown for Brent and we see the whole office going there to mourn him. Also, due to his death, we also get to see more of Adam in the DirtNow office. I'm not sure I have any exact emotions on Brent's sudden departure, but I have to say that it was quite irrelevant, but it's not like I cared too much for his character anyway.

Death in the Family: Lucy and Leo receive notice that one of their family members die. They make a case out of it and blackmail the man who in a way, killed their loved one. Seeing Lucy being all vulnerable was nice, it brought more personality to who she really was and seeing Leo was a bit boring, let's give him a storyline next season shall we?

Lolt/Hucy (What are we calling them now?): Well week after week we've seen these two get closer and closer, but they still aren't exclusive. This week, a lot of tings have been going on in Lucy's life and Holt really felt it was the time to commit to a serious relationship and they finally did. I'm all for Holt and Lucy for as long as Lucy's attitude doesn't change towards her colleagues.

Willa and Farber: They start to get intimate and what comes with that are arguments. Willa figures out that Farber is keeping secrets from her and this secret doesn't plan on coming out of the closet, at least for a while, but Willa is just forcing it out. Willa and Farber for me is a very interesting relationship and it could actually go somewhere, I'm just interested to see what direction that may be.moreless
  • A decent episode, but a series finale, thats a joke right?!?

    7.7
As a standalone episode it was fine. nothing spectacular but it helped to move a few story arcs along a little.

As a finale.....very poor. I know the series was cut short by the writers strike but if this is the best they could come up with then they should be ashamed of themselves.

Brent's dead...didn't this happen last week? It added nothing to the story. Does Lucy now have more power, or less following the change of ownership. basically it would seem that it has made no difference at all.

Lucy's mother dies. A bit of a story with a bodged op, then the funeral is held and that's the end of it.....again nothing left to hold over to a new series.

Don & Lucy patch things up - this could have been held back for a little tension, or at least left to simmer. Instead 2 minutes in and its as if they had never crossed swords.

Lucy's brother Leo returns for the funeral and all of a sudden the bad feud they had is forgotten.

Willa and Farber go from being the hot couple to chilly co-workers as Willa spins her story telling mojo on one of Farbers friends, despite Farber having already made an offer to delay the story for greater effect. this is the only thing that i feel need answering - do they still get their 'groove' going or is off for good (tune in next time for the answer, as its the only one unresolved) Oh and Lucy and Holt decide to become a bonafidi couple.

As I have said already, these plot lines, plus the usual DirtNow gossip and stories that provide the weekly 'wow', simply aren't enough to hold attention for anyone waiting for a new series. Yes it was a decent episode, that I cant argue with, but it failed to demostrate that 'must find out what happened' feeling that will pull me back again even quicker for answers next time round.moreless
