Lucy's relationships: So as of now, we know she has been seeing Ted, the editor of some other magazine, but then again, we also know for sure that she feels an attraction to Holt, which has been there for a while now. I just have this creepy feeling from Ted, he may seem like he's trying to help Lucy at the moment, but I think he has a bigger plan to take down DirtNow. I might just be being over paranoid for both Lucy and me, but then again, isn't that what one should expect from a rival who isn't acting the way he should?

Hollywood's Story: It was sort of boring this episode. We follow this guy who is cheating on his current wife with his ex-wife. It just felt like a whole drag to me, I did like the fact that Don is friends with one of them and we're finally seeing the effects of his uprising sanity.moreless

I really love the Sharlee storyline so far, principally because I'm pleasantly surprised that the Dirt writers are handling the Britney Spears inspiration in a classy, non-judgmental way. While it would have been easy for easy for the writers to duplicate the various public displays of mental problems Spears was part of throughout 2007, Sharlee's issues have been represented well, and you genuinely feel bad for her. Her friendship with Don is also becoming increasingly heart-warming, as you can see Don's perception of the media changing through his growing feelings for her.

However, this new Don doesn't sit well with Lucy, who already has her eyes on a new pap, played by Dead Like Me's Callum Blue. Lucy and Graham have undeniable chemistry, and you wonder if they could soon end up crossing the employer/employee line in a major way. On Lucy's other relationship, I'm still not feeling Holt. I don't know if it's just Josh Stewart that annoys me, but I just can't see the attraction between him and Lucy. Snore.

A major improvement on the last few episodes, What Is This Thing Called used the real-life celebrity stories to their advantage for once, while most of the acting (in particular guest star Ashley Johnson) was excellent. Great direction in this episode too, especially in the hilarious waxing scenes, and the final shot of Lucy walking across the studio lot.

this season is getting better and better...

I absolutely loved the John Waters waxing (probably coz that's my fav for myself).
Lucy/Courteney are in very good positions during those scenes.

Don's scene with sharlee were OK but I liked best when he was with Willa after boy toy trying to figure out what was up with him and his ex.

I enjoyed that Farber & Willa hooked up, they were smelling each other since they've met.

It's nice to see Lucy in bed with Ted, they seem to work well 2gether at first.
then in another nite when they have chinese and obvious sex, we see Lucy checking out picts of Holt and she realizes what we all knew, she still wants him and she knows that despite trying to have a normal relationship with studio guy, she loves Holt and needs to be with him.
I loved how Don's yelling at Lucy & her wanting picts of Holt made her realize that she's got to be with him. this scene at the end was so well put.
she comes up to him and it's like he was waiting for this the whole time. you feel the chemistry and all the sexual tension between them that make you want them to jump into the trailer and show people how it's done. but no, not even a kiss, it's too son, they need a date first and to start over and make it right this time.
how sweet! when Lucy walks away, I could have swear she would turn around and go back to Holt!

anyway, the preview for next week look amazing, I hope what happens is what I think will happen!

in the end all I have to say is thank you David Arquette for directing this episode which was brilliant! good job!
the editing was pretty good too, that's more Courteney's work.

this show is awsome, my all time favorite and it's painfull to know that the fun has to stop in a couple of sundays!
    cheers you DIRTy people!moreless
