Dirty Jobs: Why do you watch Dirty Jobs?

Why did you start watching Dirty Jobs and why did you continue to watch it?

For me, I was probably channel surfing and happened to come across it and it amused me. That is also why I continue to watch it. Its hilarious. He asks for it, then complains about it. this amuses me.

lol, i like it when the boss man doesn't help him and then he's like "I assist on the show. Assist!"
My friend's family was watching it once and I was like "eww, that's gross!" so i left but one day i was flipping the channels and I found it cool and semi-educational!! lol

I just watched it one day and got hooked. Also a lot of jobs deal with recycling and very into that.

Well I like Mike I think he is great, funny, and the perfect home. And I think they take it and make the job fun rather than just dirty, but Mike makes the show that is for sure. And it nice to see a tribute to all the hard working people and don't get rewards for all their work.

The same here, I started watching the three episodes that are from the Mini-series when it used to air on Friday after MythBusters. Like some many people I got hooked with it and while watching it, I thought I that Mike was the same person that narratated Deadliest Catch which aired earlier in the year.

my dad and i were cfhanel surfing and came across the fathers day marathon so we got hooked on it, although mike and his crew make the show. i just love him to death.

I watch a lot of the Discovery Channel *NERD* So this show was pretty much a given, plus I never knew that over half these jobs existed.

I watch Dirty Jobs because it's fun! I love watching Mike Rowe. I love the way he interacts with the folks who are trying to teach him to do what they do. There are so many jobs out there that I've never even thought of before. It's sometimes very eye opening, and you might learn a thing or two to boot.

Mike Rowe makes dirrty work fun...writing is witty and delivery with a good balance of education and entertainment. I like how he includes the crew and they all have a self depricating sense of humor and SEEM to have fun....OMG, I just saw the one where the monkey bit ?Craig the sound guy...they were all so paraanoid for good reason.
I guess it a good clean way to live vicariously without actually "getting dirty", educational and helps appreciate what others in society do for the greater good. Plus, Mike is an every day hottie...I would not kick him out of my mud bath!

I watch it because it's basically like an hour long comedy show. Mike Rowe is quite clever, I am always laughing out loud.
