He then goes to Pennsylvania to restore a church's pipe organ, a process that takes a total of eight years to complete. The most phallic Dirty Job episode ever.

Mike begins the show by helping trout spawn, cleaning long tubular organ pipes, and then harvesting geoducks, otherwise known as gooey ducks. These gooey ducks are perhaps the most phallic looking animal there is. They live for up to 146 years and are a kind of clam. The clam part buries itself in the sand while the phallic part can strecth up to 10 times the shell towards the surface of the water. As Mike experience the intricacies of geoduck farming, I can't help but think only of penis Not that I'm gay or there's anything wrong with that as Seinfeld might say, but this episode is packed with phallic symbols up the wazoo. And as another Dirty Jobs episode ends, I laugh and applaud Mike as he endeavors to put himself into the shoes of everyday citizens trying to make a living.moreless

This turned out to be a pretty interesting eposide for me and my family. I was over at my Grandmothers house and my Aunt was also there it was the first time she had seen Dirty Jobs and now she is hooked on it. My Grandma also told a story about how my Grandpa told her about Geoducks after he came back from WWII and she didn't belive him that they were a real thing so he had to prove it to her. It was an intersting story about a monent in my families life and it came about as a result of this eposide of Dirty Jobs. Thanks I enjoyed it.moreless
