Mike celebrated his 46th birthday in Fargo, ND the night before filming the ice salvage segment.
At the beginning of the ice segment, that actually was Mike driving the truck doing donuts on the ice. Gary Thompson's son-in-law let Rowe borrow his truck.
Mike: I would have put on a diaper Dave if somebody told me.
Craig: Wanna have a snowball fight?
Mike: You know, I was just thinking about that before and what I'm going to go with is no.
Brandon: That was like you were doing some X-Games thing with the Bobcat.
Mike: Yeah, that was exciting for me too. Pretty exciting for the oncoming traffic, I imagine.
Mike: So yellow snow is never good, but this stuff can actually kill you.
When the car on the SUV was pulled off, the chain actually broke the first time they tried to pull it off. So they had to use another chain and try again. It worked the second time.
Brandon compares Mike's wild skills in driving the Bobcat to the X-Games.
The X-Games is an annual competition (winter and summer) in extreme action sports such as BMX, motocross, skateboarding, skiing and snowboarding which often feature new and exciting tricks.
