They said that the rice segment came about because they were initially supposed to tape a cotton harvest, but arrived too late. According to a story on www.scnow.com, executive producer Eddie Barbini is quoted as saying the crew actually had been there to film repaving at Darlington Raceway. That dirty job didn't make it to air.
Mike: (after dumping a huge bag of rice onto the floor) Well typically at this point we just wrap it up and head back to the hotel. It's getting very late.
Mike: (about the hawk) The beak though can also rend and destroy and open a vein. Let's give it multiple targets in case anything should go awry.
Gordon: What we're trying to ensure is what we call intimate contact.
Mike: I believe I just acheived it with Arzell.
Mike: Whatever is in my eyes is unpleasant.
Mike: Doug is stuck in toxic goo. Brave, but not that smart.
Mike: Is that a shovel?
Campbell: It was one.
Mike:(on the boat troubles) I basically see how it works now. It's like musical chairs, except they're boats. (Later) Maybe we can find some sick birds to help us.
Unlike other episodes, these closing credits don't contain bloopers from the show. Instead it has sped up shots of the crew filming Mike trying to drive a forklift (with little success).
