Mike Rowe jumps into another "dirty job" and gets high on fiberglass fumes before he is locked by his reef building buddies into a chamber being filled with liquid concrete, rocks and sand.
Detailing some of the more interesting aspects of artificial reef construction, the show reveals insights of the design advances in artificial reef construction to enhance fishing, diving and coral reef rehabilitation.
This show is just plain funny, with Mike & Larry serving up rounds of witty concrete yard humor. The filming was also well done often showing the results of the work in the background making fishermen drool to have the reefs on their favorite fishing site.
One the downside, the show was not able to show much of the underwater results of the work. Understandable in the short format of Dirty Jobs....perhaps we'll get to see a follow up show in the future with Mike getting dirty planting corals.
