Dirty Sexy Money

Nick arrives at a yacht party, thrown in honor of his birthday. Amidst the party, however, the police arrive to arrest someone.



Cut back two days earlier, Lisa and Nick are talking about Nick's birthday plans. Lisa wants a private dinner while Nick states that the Darling's are throwing a party for him. Nick promises Lisa that he will be there for dinner with her.



Nick goes to work and attempts to reconcile the relationship between Tripp and Patrick, but fails. Ellen has been drinking a lot since learning about Patrick's affair with Carmelita.



Meanwhile, Lisa is getting stalked by Jeremy and tells him that nothing can happen between them.



Karen is with Simon Elder and gets him to leave the room for a moment. As he is gone, she looks through his stuff. She's spying on him for Tripp. When Simon returns, he tells Karen that he loves her. This prompts Karen to find Nick at his office and take off her clothes for him. Nick completely freaks and she gets dressed.



Brian is spending time with his son, Brian Jr., which has returned for a trip from Brazil. Surprisingly, their visas are not coming in so they cannot go back home to Brazil. Tripp later asks Brian to talk to Ellen about her drinking problem.



Ellen is at her home, drinking a lot, when Patrick comes home. She accuses him of looking for Carmelita and drinks more. Ellen finds Patrick's file of Carmelita and loses it. She attacks Patrick in the shower, and Patrick is mortified, but then she slips and hits her head and dies. Patrick, shocked, calls Tripp and Tripp then calls Nick. Nick arrives at the scene and tells Tripp that he has to call the police and refuses to do any dirty work.



Simon confronts Karen, saying that she does not have to state her love to him. He admits that he knows that she's working for her father and gives her a fuel breakthrough that he's been working on.



Karen, still waiting for Nick to arrive at dinner, gets accompanied by Jeremy. They end up having a lovely time, finished by a kiss, which was seen by Nick. Nick leaves the scene.



The next day, the driver takes Ellen's body to the country home and sets it on fire.



Nick meets with Tripp and Jeremy comes in and Nick punches him. Later, on the television, it shows that the family country home is on fire.



Karen goes to Simon and gives his concoction back. She seems to actually like him.



Jeremy, saddened of not being able to get Lisa, goes to the bar and meets a pretty lady.



Back to Nick arriving at his birthday party. Tripp gives Nick the yacht, but then the police arrive and arrest Letitia for the murder of Dutch.
