Episode Recap

Nick puts together the puzzle that he learned in the previous episode, finding the man his father had met with so many times. It turns out that the man his father had meetings with was a billionaire named Simon Elder. Tripp and Simon have had a long past together as Nick learns and finds he has more in common with Simon than he imagined.

Juliet and Jeremy are still fighting over Jeremy having an affair with Natalie Kimpton, so they opt to throw separate birthday parties for the first time since the both of them were born. Nick explains that they will have to split the $2,000,000 budget for their original joint celebration, and the two seemed to be upset about the idea of only having one million dollars each.

Meanwhile, Brian Sr. has left Brian Jr. at home, alone, with his wife. Through a series of questions, Brian's wife is able to figure out that the little boy she thought was an orphan did in fact belong to her husband.

Cut to Karen, who is trying to get someone to give her something again. She is trying to get her boyfriend into a very prestigious golfing club. Through blackmailing Patrick and implicitly threatening Patrick that she will reveal his dirty secret to his wife, she is able to get him just that.

Trying to outdo the other, Jeremy has his party on the Brooklyn Bridge, while Juliet's party has a French Revolution theme, complete with life-size chocolate aristocrats. Juliet leaves her party because she misses her brother, but when she gets to his party the cops have already placed him in handcuffs for acting wild on the bridge.

Nick gets a call on his cell phone, having to come down and pick up Jeremy from the police as the episode draws to a close.
