I thought this was one of the best episodes so far, allowing viewers to see directly into The Darling's scandals and rumors, up until the last minute. I thought the episode was written extremely well, and found Clark not only a very good character, but a good actor as well.

Despite the storyline not being based upon the main cast, they appeared in flashbacks, which allowed separate story lines to join together, despite them being fictional.

I loved the last couple of minutes, as Clark walks around the room, the camera depicts each item held there, and how they relate to Clark's 'stories' In my opinion, a very special episode.moreless

    • Clark: Come on, what have you got, a couple of shots of Karen sunbathing topless in Ibiza? Print 'em. Kate Scott: Oh, actually, this is not a puff piece. And if I wanted to print pictures of Karen Darling's ya-yas, wouldn't have to look hard.

    • Clark: Behind every darling man is a good woman. Sometimes... two.

    • Ama: I am here because I am the mother of Simon's child. You are here because you... are beautiful. Beauty makes Simon very happy. Karen: We had great sex this morning. (puts up three fingers) Clark: (narrating) Three times.

    • Karen: You're seriously putting a fashion show on here tomorrow? Letitia: Well, Ferragamo agreed to it. They're sending over their spring collection and their models. And I've invited 200 of my closest friends and their daughters and their daughters. The city of new york can imprison me in my own home, but they can't slow me down.

    • (after Clark told Kate that only a few people attended Letitia's fashion show) Kate Scott: I almost feel sorry for Letitia. Clark: Then don't run the story. Kate Scott: I said I almost feel sorry.

    • Letitia: (to Juliet) You know, sex is like riding a horse. First you just, oh, you fall in love with the horse. And then you get to know the horse. And then you learn to jump it, higher and higher. And then you, oh, you take all these wonderful adventures with it. But you have to become one with your horse. My advice is, uh... practice, practice, practice.

    • The scene revealing that Clark made up all the stories using the names of objects around him appears to be inspired by the 1995 film The Usual Suspects, in which a detective realizes how Verbal Kint invented the entire story of the movie off of names on a wall.
