Episode Recap

The episode opens with Nick in a meeting with Simon Elder. Simon is throwing together a giant poker game where only the rich and famous are going to be able to play. Simon demands that Nick make sure Tripp brings one specific piece of land to the table. Nick leaves the room confused to Simon's motives, but will do anything to find out if Tripp is the one who killed his father.

The high-stakes poker game pits Simon Elder against Tripp. The buy-in to the poker game is $20,000,000 and the wagers are some of Manhattan's most sought-after properties. During the game, it appears that Nick is able to convince Tripp to bet the property that Simon wants. Simon wins the hand as Tripp yells at Nick before leaving the room.

Meanwhile, Karen panics when she learns she can't marry her fourth husband until her last divorce from her third husband is complete. She drives over to his house, to find him hotter and more desirable then ever. The two make love in his apartment, giving Karen even more doubts about what is going on with her love life.

Cut to Patrick, who once again is with his new love. Another blackmailer takes photos of them together, forcing Patrick to get Nick involved once again. Nick learns that Tripp was the one who was having the photos taken. Patrick learns of this and confronts his father.

Also, Jeremy has begun his new job working for his father. He is working as a parking attendant when a woman catches his eye. He has to pretend to be rich in order to have a chance with her and has to go and buy her a new car when he damages hers.

Through a flashback to end the episode, we learn that Nick and Tripp were both in on the plan to give Simon the property that he wanted. Nick told Tripp why he wanted him to bring the property and Tripp agreed to put it into the game, despite his wife's wishes.
