Another great installment of Dirty Sexy Money tonight. We saw a strong foundation being set for a lengthy run on TV, and the only thing that could stop that is a lack of rise in the ratings.

Donald Sutherland did a great job here as he is so skilled at taking control of the screen and making every scene seem so vital. A one of a kind actor who really gives this show street cred. His facial expression when the heart attack kicked in was so hilarious that in a way it worked.

Simon Elder is up to his mischievous ways and is making a strong case for being one of the best villains on TV right now. As always Glenn Fitzgerald gave another epic performance here. Brian Darling is such a great character because as dastardly and execrable as the man is you feel for him and care about what happens to him.

A great night for ABC and more high-quality season 2 of Dirty Sexy Money.moreless

    • Patrick: Now, I understand how Tripp Darling lives, works, operates. Fully. Victories have costs. Maybe I should take a little less Patrick Darling down to Washington and, uh, a little more Tripp. Edit
    • Brian: (to a police officer) He's about four foot tall, has a face like a smurf. Andrea: Here's a recent picture and he's four foot two exactly. Brian: And she's the one who lost him. Edit

    • Brian: He's about four foot tall, has a face like a smurf. The smurfs, from the '80s animated series of the same name, are fictional tiny blue-skinned creatures which lived in mushroom homes. Edit
    • Patrick Darling: Look at him -- like Freddy Krueger -- just waiting for a chance to kill again. Freddy Krueger is a fictional character from the A Nightmare on Elm Street film series. Created by Wes Craven and portrayed by actor Robert Englund in every film of the series, he is an undead comedic serial killer, who can attack his victims from within their own dreams. Edit
