    Looks like a Disney Channel Games 2009 has been confirmed since, there is a sweepstakes going on where you can go to the 2009 Disney Channel Games.

    i heard tht before the games are even filmed there will be a thing online where u can vote on wich 6 events of the past 3 dc games will be in the 2009 games. like u can vote for simon says, super soccer, chariot race, etc. and then those 6 games will be in it. and it may start like early july 2009 i think. i heard this on wikipedia, so it may not be tru. but now its not there, so idk. it could be fake, but itd be AWESOME if it was tru.

    Exactly what I was going to say. I think people just have to start getting used to these "new" DC stars. I'm surprised they didnt get the as the bell ring kids this year.

    They did get one of them from the first season. Demi Lovato. She played Charlotte.

    Well that's only because Demi played in Camp Rock.

    I think they should have the Life With Derek cast; it isn't a Disney show; but they air it on Dinsey, so why not?

    What I mean is like the HSM cast and Miley are Disney's biggest stars and that's why they haven't appeared. The Jonas Brothers probably won't appear next year but who knows. They seem more grounded than the others so you never know.

    Where are you getting this? The reason they didn't appear was because of their schedule not because they're too big of stars.

    It's my opinion. I'm allowed to express it and I feel that even if there weren't "schedule conflicts", they still wouldn't appear.

    Zac and Vanessa are trying to get away from Disney - thats why they havent participated. I think Lucas is too. They are filiming seperate movies too except Monique.

    Hate to rain on your parade but because "Life With Derek" is filmed in Canada, he's probably contracted with Family Channel (which is basically the Canadian version of Disney Channel) so it probably wouldn't happen. Now I suppose that you could argue that the games have many other international stars but they're all from channels called "Disney Channel Italy" and "Disney Channel Latin America"...but then again Jasmine Richards appeared, and she was on "Naturally, Sadie" which was also made by Family Channel....but then again she was starring with American actors in "Camp Rock." So I don't know, but "Life with Derek" has been on for three years so, honestly, I think if he were to be a member of the DC games they would have had himn already...but I could be wrong.

    The Disney Channel Games are not coming back in 2009. Disney wants to focus on this new thing that their doing call Disney XD and it's stars.
