This episode starts out with the kids all outside in the early morning. Leo says good morning, introduces himself and his friends, and says that they are all going to try and play music to wake up the sun! Quincy says that he is going to play his trumpet. June states that she is going to dance. Annie says that she is going to sing, and than Leo says that he is going to conduct - Which is his favorite thing in the world! Leo asks if everybody is ready and when they all nod, he begins to conduct with his favorite baton! Leo states that he never goes anywhere without his baton. Everybody does just what the said they were going to do. They are making music, and in no time at all they wake up the sun! The sun goes high in the sky! The team gives out a cheer. June points out that they woke up a LOT of animal, including many birds and even a deer! June invites Leo to use her binoculars to see all the animals. Leo sets down his baton on a tree stump. June hears a really pretty bird song, and then spots a bald eagle picking up sticks to build a nest. The bald eagle starts heading for the kids and dives down, grabs Leo's baton, and flies away! Leo needs to get his baton back! The team promises that they will help him get it back! The team all head to Rocket to find the bald eagle and get Leo's Baton. The team opens the musical door and go down to Rocket. Leo explains to Rocket what happened and Leo invites them all inside to take off!
BLAST OFF!
The team is fling high through the sky and looking for the bald eagle. Annie sings a quick song about losing the baton. The team quickly hears and sees the bald eagle and finds her flying away with Leo's baton!. They chase the bald eagle all the way to Washington and to Mount Saint Helens! The bald eagle flies over the volcano and through a lot of smoke and clouds. Rocket tries to chase the bald eagle through the clouds, but gets stuck on the top of the volcano! The volcano is rumbling and is getting ready to blow with Rocket on top! With quick thinking, Quincy pulls out his flute in hopes of calming down the volcano. He plays it softer and softer, with a constant diminuendo. Quincy continues to play quietly and finally the volcano is calmed down! Rocket flies off the volcano and just in time too! Because not long after they got off, the volcano erupted and bursted! The kids watched the lava for a while but then went back to chasing the bald eagle.
Rocket found the bald eagle using the look-and-listen scope way ahead of the team! Rocket brought out his backup booster and speeded WAY up and caught up with the bald eagle! The bald eagle takes the team over California's Redwood Forest and down into it as well. The team follows the bald eagle into the forest, but quickly lose sight of the her. The team follows a path and wind up in a big Animal meeting! June sees that a big lion is in charge of the meeting! Quincy concludes that the if the Lion is in charge he will know where the bald eagle is! Annie walks up to the animals and tries to get their attention by singing her song again. Unfortunately, the animals don't hear her. The whole team now sings the song and gets the animal's attention! A wolf says that he can help as he sends out a loud request to a bunch of whales. The whales return the message that they know where the bald eagle is! The team is going to go to the whales for help now!
BLAST OFF!
The team flies out of the forest and to the sea shore where the whales answered from. Rocket looks around with the look-and-listen scope and sees the bald eagle fling across the water and onto a huge rock! Rocket tries to land near the rock, but it's not safe. Leo takes Rocket to the shore and the kids disembark. Now the kids just need to get over the water and to the rock. June says that she knows how to get over the water! They can dance across the water! The team is slightly confused until June demonstrates what she's talking about. June dances from whale to whale over the water! The team realizes that it's easy and they are soon all dancing over the water and the make it all the way to the rock where the bald eagle took Leo's baton.
Leo is know going by himself to get his baton way at the top in the nest. Leo puts on a helmet and climbs all the way to the top of the large rock, arriving at the nest. Leo tries to jump at first to get baton but can't reach it! Leo gets a running start, leaps up, and grabs his baton! He got it! The bald eagle comes back and Leo explains that she had taken his baton by mistake. The bald eagle's chicks pop out of the nest and Leo laughs. Leo Conducts a song and the team cheers!
