  • Ahem, Einstein, a bassoon is not an oboe. They don't even look alike. At all.

We love Little Einsteins, but if they're going to feature an instrument in an episode, they need to know what that instrument looks like so they don't miseducate the kids. The voicing for the bassoon in this episode is indeed a bassoon (thank goodness for that at least), but the animated instrument pictured and called "the bassoon" is NOT a bassoon, but an oboe! How disappointing. We won't watch that one again, so as not to cause my children to bind to misinformation. I've come to expect so much more from Disney.moreless
