This episode starts with all the kids and Annie's backyard. Annie is very excited for one reason; it's her birthday! Annie is holding a big pink balloon as she invites the viewer to come to her birthday party! Annie points out that her friends are helping set up for the party! June is putting up the streamers. Quincy is helping with the noise makers and as some funny results! And Leo is frosting Annie's chocolate cake!
Annie says that she loves all those things, but her favorite thing about birthdays is balloons! Annie quickly makes up a birthday balloon song and sings it. Quincy comes up to Annie and says that he got her a present. From behind him Quincy pulls out a green balloon and hands it to Annie. Annie thanks him and then June walks over to Annie as well. She says that she got Annie a present too! She hands Annie a big blue balloon! Annie thanks June and then Leo comes over to Annie and says that she will never guess what his present is. Leo pulls out an orange star-shaped balloon and gives it to Annie. Annie rushes to Leo giving him a big hug. The unexpectedly, the balloons start to play Annie's song! Annie sings along and the team cheers!
Then tragedy strikes! A gust of wind blows by blowing Annie's birthday balloons out of hands! Leo tries to save the balloons, but fails. Leo says that they can get the balloons back as the team heads for the Rocket Room. The team opens the musical door and go through and head down to Rocket. Once in the Rocket Room, Leo tells Rocket what happened and Rocket opens his door, letting the kids inside. The team rushes inside to take off into the sky!
BLAST OFF!
Once in the air, Annie sings her song and this time the whole team joins in on the song! Within a matter of seconds, Annie can already hear and see her balloons. The team chases after them as the go into the clouds. Leo brings out the look-and-listen scope to help find the balloons. After carefully examining the screen, Annie concludes that her balloons are headed for Seattle! They chase the balloons all the say to the Seattle space needle! Annie states that if her balloons touch the needle then they'll pop! June quickly gets and idea to use Rockets breeze blower to blow the balloons over the space needle! It takes many tries but the use of the breeze blower was successful and Annie's birthday balloons got safely over the space needle! Annie thanks the team for the help as the continue pursuing the birthday balloons!
The team can't catch up with the birthday balloon as they float down into a thick tropical rainforest! The balloons go past a waterfall and under many trees. Rocket tries to stay caught up with the balloons but Rocket suddenly gets stuck in a bunch of vines! The kids get out in hopes of getting Rocket free from the vines. They can't quite get pull the vines off but Quincy notices that the vines act similarly to violin strings. Quincy is going to try to use his violin bow to untangle Rocket. Quincy gives his idea a try and it works perfectly! The vine was shaken off by Quincy's bow. The all of a sudden the team hears a snake somewhere nearby! In a panic about the snake, the teams hurries with the rest of the vines. Quincy release a second vine, but the snake is getting much closer! Quincy undoes the third vine and with Rocket untangled, the team dashes off away from the snake!
The team runs quickly down a dirt path with Rocket following until they reach a small clearing. While there, the kids hear a bird! The look around and see that the bird is the bushes. They ask the bird if it's seen Annie's balloons, but the bird says no and disappears into the thick forest. Then June hears and spots a monkey! She asks the monkey if it's seen the balloons but the monkey says no. Then the team hears the snake again! They begin to panic before they hear the song singing Annie's song. Annie begins to walk over to the snake and together they sing the birthday balloon's special song! Quincy concludes that it's a friendly snake. Leo asks the snake if he's seen Annie's balloons and the snake says yes! The snake points up and out of the forest in the direction of the balloons. The kids see the floating over the forest! They dash to Rocket and get ready to chase the balloons again!
BLAST OFF!
The team flies high in the sky, right behind the balloons. After some time, June points out that the balloons have taken them to Antarctica! They chase the balloons around Antarctica. Leo tries to stop Rocket down on the ice, but Rocket can't control himself and the team is forced to fly back up. Quincy notes that some penguins nearby are sliding on the bellies and it gives Quincy and idea! He tells Rocket to slide on the ice on his belly, just like a penguin. It works! They slide for a while and are catch up with Annie's birthday balloons! Leo flies Rocket up as Rocket puts out his grab nabbers. Rocket reaches out for the balloons as far as he can. One...two...three! Rocket grabbed three of the balloons! He did it! But Annie remembers that she had four balloons! They didn't get the star-shaped one that Leo gave her! They spot it as it's about to pop on the tip of a pointy ice berg! Rocket's hands are too full, so Leo says that he'll get the last balloon for Annie!
Leo puts on his winter clothes and heads out on the ice as the others stay inside Rocket. Leo begins to skate across the ice as the team inside Rocket bring out the look-and-listen scope to help Leo. The team spots many bumps in the ice that Leo might trip on! The team warns Leo just in time as he jumps over all the bumps in the ice. Now Leo he at the ice berg! He uses the ice berg as a ramp and flies off the top in hopes of rescuing the last balloon. Quincy covers his eyes. The team waits for a while nervously. Then finally Leo comes floating back down to the ground with the balloon! The team cheers as they go out to congratulate and thank him. Leo hands Annie the balloons and she gives Leo another hug. Quincy proposes that they just have her party in Antarctica, as everything is already here! Annie joyfully accepts the idea and she sees a lot of penguins already coming to the party! In no time at all there are a bunch of penguins at Annie's party. Leo pulls out his baton and sings Annie's birthday balloon song. He sings it again and invites everybody to sing it with him. The team sings and all wish Annie a great, happy birthday!
