This episode starts out with the kids in the Rocket Room all playing with various things. Leo introduces himself and the rest of team and says that the Rocket Room is one of their favorite places to play. Right after that, the team all jumps when they hear music coming from another part of the Rocket Room! The kids all notices that the music was loud, but got a lot softer. The team goes to investigate. The team finds a very unusual looking machine! It has horns on top and the middle of the machine is spinning while it makes music. The kids try to find out what it might be. The machine starts to play very loud music and several orange music notes fly out of the larger horn on top of the machine. The notes surround Annie's bouncy ball that she is holding and takes it from her hands. The bouncy ball floats around in mid air with the notes for a moment before all of a sudden the bouncy ball turns huge, bigger then Rocket! Annie jumps back alarmed. The team is amazed at the machine. Purple, softer notes now flow from the smaller horn on top of the machine and surround Annie's gigantic bouncy ball, and after another moment the bouncy ball is shrunk back to it's normal size again! June conclude that this machine is a big-and-small machine! The team cheers at this discovery. Without any warning, the machine lets out more purple notes but this time the notes surround the team and Rocket! Once they are surrounded in the circle of notes, the team is immediately shrunk to sizes, no bigger than crayons.! Leo says that they can all wait for the big-and-small machine to make them big again, but the winds of misfortune blow their way. The music of the machine starts to play faster, and faster, and the machine is spinning faster and faster. Quickly, the whole large piece of the big-and-small machine breaks off the rest of the machine and flies out of the Rocket Room and into the sky! They know that they need to get the missing piece back or they might never get big ever again! The team dashes for Rocket, who was also shrunken.
