This episode starts out with the kids at a mysterious tree called The Tree of Many Colors! Leo introduces himself and says that they are the Little Einsteins team, and informs everybody that they are there today looking for their friend, Butterfly. He takes a moment, but the kids finally see butterfly from the other side of the tree. The greet Butterfly and chat for a bit and all of sudden another butterfly, a mail-carrying butterfly, flies by over the kids and to a nearby Butterfly mailbox! Other Butterflies surround the mail carrier and leave him with bright red letters! There are also letters for Leo, Annie, Quincy, June, and Rocket as well! After looking at it carefully, Leo can tell that is it an invitation! It is an invitation for the butterfly migration family party down in Mexico! The team cheers, knowing that they got invited! Annie looks at Butterfly only to find that he is not as happy, and in fact is crying! June asks what is wrong. Apparently, Butterfly didn't get invited to the party! Three other butterflies fly up to Butterfly and start teasing him. Annie sends them away and assures Butterfly that it was a mistake and is certainly invited to the party! Leo goes to recheck the mailbox, but it is still empty. Leo cries out for the mail carrier to ask what is wrong and why Butterfly wasn't invited. The Mail Carrier doesn't know, but says that it is possible that he got put in another mail bow by mistake. There were four stops that include Niagra Falls, The United Nations in New York, a dark cave in Oklahoma, and a cattle ranch in Houston Texas. Leo says that they will get to all four places to find Butterflies missing invitation. As Leo pulls out his baton, the team starts running to Rocket and when they are there, they get ready to...
BLAST OFF!!!
Rocket flies high in the sky in the direction of the first stop; Niagra Falls in Canada! Rocket looks down to find a small river that will most likely lead right to the Falls! "Down, Down Rocket! To the water" the team cries out as Rocket dives into the water to continue the journey. Rocket swims along the river for a good long while before the rapids pick up. Soon the team finds themselves at the very edge of the falls! If they don't act fast, they might fall off and tumble to the bottom! Rocket is quick and pulls out his back-paddle and starts swimming backwards away from the edge. Once they are away at a safe distance, Quincy notes that they just need to find the mailbox. The look around and can see the tiny mail box way at the bottom of the falls! Accepting the mailbox's position, Leo flies Rocket down Niagra Falls and right up the mailbox. The team gets out to check it. After a quick examination, the team coherently sees this mailbox is empty and the missing invitation is elsewhere. The team runs back to Rocket to find the next place.
Once inside Rocket, Rocket pulls down his screen to see where to go next. The next place on the list is the United Nations in New York City. The team seats themselves and they blast off in the direction of New York. Rocket flies and New York is only a short flight away. After just a few minutes, the team finds themselves already at the United Nations building in the city of New York! Rocket lands near the building so the kids can find the mailbox! The team runs to a small garden like area where they clearly see the mailbox standing! The team to check it and before they can, they see a large group of international Butterflies all in a disagreement. The team knows that the Butterflies from all different nations need to stop arguing! Annie sings a song, telling the butterflies to stop and the arguing butterflies actually stop and join in the song with Annie. Now that everybody is at peace, Quincy checks the mailbox only to find that it is unfortunately empty as well. The team runs back to Rocket.
With one less place to check, Leo concludes that they now have to check the dark, spooky cave in Oklahoma! Rocket flies right to Oklahoma and lands right near the entrance of the cave. Quincy looks inside and reminds the team that he is very afraid of the dark! The team is aware of this and the darkness of the cave. Luckily, June shows Quincy that the mailbox isn't inside the cave! It's right next to it! Quincy gives a sigh of relief. They get out to check the mailbox. While Quincy goes to check it, Butterfly flies right inside the dark cave! The team is curious and worried about Butterfly's actions and run in after him, Rocket shining his headlights brightly ahead of them. The team is aware that the cave is most likely full of spiders and bats, bats and spiders. Still, even when they know this, they continue to find Butterfly. They go farther into the cave until a point where two paths split. June decides that they should take the black path to find Butterfly and she is very right! They follow the path to find butterfly at what seems like a dead end. The team asks why Butterfly flew off like that. Butterfly shows them that there is a large spider web that is trapping three other butterflies on their way to the party! All of a sudden the spider that made the web appears! The team distracts the spider while Quincy pulls the web away, freeing the lost Butterflies. They get ready to make their escape. They turn around to run out and find that behind them, they are being chased by both bats and the spider! The team runs with the Butterflies right near them up corridors and up chutes, and finally can see the light at the end of the cave! The bats and spider continue to chase them to the very end of the cave and finally turn around and give up when the Little Einsteins and the Butterflies got away! They did it! Now that they were out of the cave, Quincy goes to check the mailbox and again find it empty. Drat! The three butterflies thank Butterfly for his courage and the kids notice that they're the same three butterflies that were teasing Butterfly! They apologize and Butterfly glad fully accepts. The team heads off now for the last place on the map; Texas.
They go to Rocket and fly over fields and mountains, finally reaching Texas and the farm where the Missing invitation might actually be! The kids quickly see the mailbox, but a large herd of cows surrounding it. From a distance, Leo can clearly see the missing invitation in the mailbox! They found it! They try to go get it, but the cows are blocking their way! They cows won't let them take the invitation until they can sing Butterfly's special song. Leo pulls out his baton and sings along with Butterfly, teaching the cows the song! Once the cows think they know it well, they try on their own and it sounds great! The cows thank Leo and the team and hand over the missing invitation! They did it! They got te invitation! Now they just need to get down to the party in Mexico! They run to Rocket for blast off and soar away into the skies!
Rocket flies and finally ends up in the great forest where the Migration Family Party is being held! Rocket lands as Leo guide everybody to a butterfly that is taking the invitations for the party. Everybody drops off their own invitation and walk into the party grounds! Once inside, the team hears and sees thousands, no, MILLIONS of butterflies all swarming around and on the trees! The team is utterly amazed at this grand sight! The three butterflies that were originally stuck in the cave fly right up to Butterfly with a medal in their hands. The put the medal around Butterfly's neck, thanking him for his help back in the cave. All of the butterflies in the whole family party them begin to sing Butterfly's special song to him as thanks! Butterfly is very honored by this. Well, the team did it! They found Butterfly's missing invitation and even got him the Migration Family Party, just in time. Leo pulls out his baton and...
