Since this episode was first aired in December, it's such a coincidence the featured music would be The Nutcracker Suite. The Nutcracker is the most famous of all ballets, so that's why December is a perfect time for the first-airing of this episode.

June demonstrated some ballet steps that may seem new to preschoolers who might be watching the series for the first time. It's also a great episode, along with "The Blue-Footed Boobie Bird Ballet," to be viewed by children (and adults) who are thinking about taking up dance classes. I know I enjoyed watching this episode, especially for the first time.

    Keep on dancing, June!moreless
