      • Spirit: No pencil is sharp enough to draw as fine as you can think, and no paper large enough to hold your imagination. In fact, it is only in the mind that we can conceive infinity.

      • Spirit: So from these eggheads, the Pythagoreans, with their mathematical formula, came the basis of our music of today.

      • This episode was sponsored by RCA and featured Vaughn Monroe in the commercials. This was the first time Disney was sponsored by NBC's parent company. One of the commercials was promoting the new RCA color television. Like all early Disney shows, there was a plug for Disney features in movie theaters. This show had a promo for Babes in Toyland featuring Annette Funicello.

      • To demonstrate the effect Technicolor had on movies, Walt shows clips from "Flowers and Trees" and "Fantasisa".

      • A new character joins the show: Ludwig Von Drake, who will remain a fixture on the show until the 1980's.

      • As of this episode, Disneyland is now entitled Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, and is now shown on NBC.
