In the "Donald Duck" ad at the end of the show, Mike the Microphone says that Donald has been an actor since 1933, even though Donald's career didn't start until 1934.
Mickey: Before we go, I just have one question, What is the deal with MORTIMER'S voice? Mortimer: Aw, get yer own material! I'm outta here! Mickey: Ah, just kidding. (Donald shows up on stage) Mickey & Donald: See ya next time!
Mike: And now, everybody's best friend, Mickey Mouse!
Meg: (to Hercules) Did you see Mickey in that cartoon? Now, that's a hero. Ariel: I wish Mickey would come visit me under the sea.
Minnie: Oh, Donald, your tail is on fire. Donald: I know! I like it!
Mortimer: So, what is the deal with Mickey's voice, huh? Was he raised by Chip 'n' Dale or what?
The cartoon that Minnie and Goofy reference in this episode, where Donald is "upside down on the barber chair," refers to Donald getting a haircut on his butt in the 1937 cartoon short 'Modern Inventions' (which can be a somewhat objectional joke today).
There is also an DVD called Everybody Loves Mickey.
"Shakespeare in Love" is referenced. "The Shaggy Dog" is referenced. "Armaggeddon" is referenced.
The title is a reference to "Everybody Loves Raymond".
