  • Pretty good, but not my favorite episode

The Not So Goofy episode was a pretty good one. Definitely above average, but not one of my favorites. It was neat to see The Three Caballeros cast together again, playing some of the main roles. I enjoyed the fast song and dance sequence about how Panchinto got his name and were he came from as a way to try and remind Goofy who he was after they realized that they didn't like the Un-Goofy that Jose helped Goofy become. The cartoons featured within the episode weren't as great as they usually are though. They seemed a bit boring; more like fillers rather than compliments to the episode.moreless

    • Timon: Hey, waiter, there are bugs on my plate! Thanks.

    • Goofy: (ordering dinner) I'll have the Country Bear fried steak, mashed potatoes with the Emperor's New Gravy, and Mickey Mousse.

    • Timon: (to Goofy) Pumbaa here wants you to do your signature 'wa-ha-ha-hoooiiieee' yell. Goofy: Sorry Timon, but I am Un-Goofy and shall not abandon my duties for such a lark. Pumbaa: Aw, boo-hoo-hoo-hoooiiieee!

    • Goofy: (to Jose Carioca) You're gonna teach me to poison Grace?! But, I don't even know Grace. Jose Carioca: No, no, no, no, no. I am going to teach you 'poise and grace.'

    • Jose Carioca: (to Goofy) The proper way to wait tables is like this: (clears throat) 'Good evening, sir. My name is Jose. I'll be your waiter this evening. How may I help you?' Goofy: Gawrsh, let me see...(pulls up a table and sits down at it) I'll have the 'Country Bear Fried Steak,' 'Mashed Potatoes with the Emperor's New Gravy' and 'Mickey Mousse.'
