Based on the Channel 4 show of the same name, this Comedy Central half-hour game show features four contestants competing in a battle of wits to answer general knowledge questions while being 'distracted' by a series of gruelling and testing challenges aimed at throwing them off course. Distraction demands the ultimate in physical and mental endurance from its contestants. Being electrocuted, wrestling a sumo, and urination on demand are just some of the unpleasant tasks the contestants have to endure to win the prize money. Hosted by stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr this is a hilarious game show like none other!moreless
This UK import is much more fun to watch! While the questions are not brain benders, try and answer them while someone breaks a bottle over your head! The faint of heart may want to skip this one. Impressionable children should be steered clear as well. Electro shock, beds of nails, etc are the norm. None of the "stunts" cause any permanent damage to the contestants, but you still wouldn't want to try them at home. It's a fun half hour if you want an alternative to your father's game show.moreless
this is the funniest show that i have ever seen... i hope it stays on for a long time... winning prizes and then taking them away like that it is just hilarious... the host is the horniest guy.... he hits on everyone... you just have to watch it... fifty words is alot of work...
I think this is mildly interesting because you get to watch people drink hot sauce, or to pee just to answer the questions. People get wrestled, get lap dances, or get any kind of torture while they answer the most easy questions. The host can be pretty funny sometimes, too. It can be funny because of what dirty things they do. Like when they had the lap dances, they got an over-weight, disturbing, hairy, beer-bellied man eating a sandwich, dancing for another man. That would distract me and I'd probably puke right on the guy. They can do some pretty scary stuff to the contestants. Usually, when they win they may have to blow up a prize. Sometimes you have 5 prizes but if you answer a question wrong, you have to blow something up.moreless
