DJ Games

Show Summary

DJ Games is a documentary reality show broadcast on the Game Show Network in 2000, which provides an inside look at disc jockey radio games and the people who like to play them. Each episode features three or four different DJs from radio stations across the US as they host on-air competitions or call-in games and interact with their listeners. The disc jockeys are generally hosts of a daily drive morning/afternoon radio show format. Viewers are taken inside the studio or watch the disc jockeys on location at events as they play radio games with listeners. The show provides a visual component to an activity that is generally only experienced through listening to the radio. Games include daily trivia, relationship quizzes, questions on current events, and contests that involve promotions and giveaways. One segment, for example, features a morning show disc jockey in Louisville, hosting a game called "scar search," in which a group of contestants come into the studio, chat with the DJ and show off their scars. The show is produced by Andrew Solt.
