Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When With is learning how to say Daisuke's name he pronounces it Daisuki, which translates to "I really like you!" This is what he says to Riku (dressed as Risa) at the end of cabbage shredding duty.

    • The commercial break graphic of the swinging black feather is played four times in this episode. On the fourth time, both Risa and Riku shout "Enough, already!" and the music grinds to a halt.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • (Riku finishes adjusting her wig so she looks like Risa.)
Riku: Does it really have to be this apron?
Risa: Of course! Now try talking like me.
Riku: (imitating Risa) Oh Niwa, pretty please, won't you do my homework for me?
      Risa: Am I like that?
      Riku: Yes, you are.

    • Riku: I'm through switching places with you! That is for sure.
Risa: I don't want to either.
Riku: We have absolutely nothing in common.
Risa: Nothing at all. We are complete opposites.
(Risa and Riku stare at each other.)
Risa: But nobody noticed the switch, did they?
      (Riku nods sadly.)

    • (Mr. Kaseda inspects the cabbage shreds from With and Riku, who are disguised as Daisuke and Risa.)
      Kaseda: Alright, you pass.
      (With and Riku smile.)
Kaseda: By the way, Harada, that apron really does suit you.
      (Riku looks surprised.)
Kaseda: (looking at "Daisuke") Don't you think so?
With: (looking straight at Riku) Mmm! I like you!
(A long pause as Riku stares in shock at "Daisuke", who continues smiling at her.)
Riku: (thinking) Did he just say what I think he did?

    • Risa: Hey, big sister.
      Riku: Uh oh.
Risa: (Walks in with tea) How about a break for tea?
Riku: Depends. Did you make it?
Risa: I'll give you a massage.
Riku: You're creeping me out! What are you after? All right, out with it, sis!
Risa: I'm so hurt, to even suggest!
      Riku: (pausing) Something's fishy.

    • Kaseda: I would like the following students to report for cabbage shredding tomorrow afternoon.
      (Risa grunts.)
Kaseda: Harada! Of course I mean Risa.
Risa: I know. You don't have to say it.
Kaseda: And for a change of pace, Daisuke!
      Daisuke: Huh?
      Kaseda: You're mine, little man.
Takeshi: You sly dog; just you and Risa alone together.
Daisuke: (blushing) Oh, please not that.
