Do or Die, also known as The Rubicon, is a 2001 two-part Australian TV mini-series directed by Rowan Wells. Nicholas (Hugo Speer) and Sam (Kate Ashfield) are devastated when they learn their young son is terminally ill. After exhausting all other alternatives, the parents realize they must contact Sam's estranged father in Sydney if they have any chance of saving their son. In 2001, the film won an Awgie Award for best television mini-series, and an Open Craft Award from the Australian Film Institute.moreless
