As the Time War comes to its bloody conclusion, the Doctor crashes on the planet Karn. The Sisterhood offers to provide him with the regeneration he needs to save the universe from destruction by both sides.
In the original episode featuring the Sisterhood of Karn, "The Brain of Morbius," there is a young priestess named Ohica. It is not clear if this is the same older person here named Ohila or if so, why the name is spelled slightly different.
The Doctor: I'm a doctor, but probably not the one you were expecting!
The Doctor: Where are the rest of the crew?
Cass: Teleported off.
The Doctor: But you're still here.
Cass: I teleported them off.
The Doctor: But why you?
Cass: The rest of them were screaming.
Cass: Where are we going?
The Doctor: Back of the ship.
The Doctor: Because the front crashes first. Think it through.
Ohila: We restored you to life, but it's a temporary measure. You have a little under four minutes.
The Doctor: Four minutes? That's ages. What if I get bored or need a television, couple of books? Anyone play chess? Bring me knitting.
The Doctor: Am I back on Karn? You're the Sisterhood of Karn. Keepers of the Flame of Utter Boredom.
Ohila: Eternal life.
The Doctor: That's the one.
Ohila: Fast or strong? Wise or angry? What do you need now?
The Doctor: Warrior.
The Doctor: I don't suppose there's any need for a Doctor any more. Make me a warrior now.
The Doctor: Charley, C'rizz, Lucie, Tamsin, Molly… friends, companions I've known, I salute you. And Cass... I apologize. Physician, heal myself.
This minisode, a prelude to "The Day of the Doctor," runs 6 minutes.
