The Rebel Flesh was a superb and very entertaining episode of Doctor Who. I really enjoyed watching because the story was well written and there was a lot of character and plot development. It was intriguing to see an acid mine manned by doppelgangers and to learn that there may be more to them than first thought. I liked how the story played out and the action was engaging. I liked how every thing played out and the ending was shocking! I look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!!!moreless

Well, well. The TARDIS still can't figure out if Amy is pregnant and the Doctor is keeping secrets from hsi companions as usual. Oh, a solar tsunami; clever idea. Hang ten with a TARDIS Hahaha!

Okay, who would be mining ACID!? I mean what would be the point of that? What would people need acid for in the 22nd century? Its VERY, VERY dangerous! The TARDIS would have melted if it weren't for its high-tehc origins and the Doctor was lucky to keep his feet after burning his shoes in the acid. Double troubel with the Gangers, eh? Well that's what you get for working in such a dangerous profession and won't listen to the wisdom of someone much more intellegent than you are.

Whoo! And to make things better, we get a double of the Doctor. Nobody saw that coming. Nah! The Flesh said "trust me" much like the Eleventh Doctor does, so that shouldn't be much of a surprise at the end.moreless

Very.....strange episode...

Personally, I found this episode weird, this is just my opinion though. First there is the actual flesh. I mean, if its corrosive, how come the Doctor touches it without any apparent reaction, or side effect. Well, the ganger Doctor could be the result, but we don't know if that's true yet. Then there is that eye-patch lady, well she's still a complete mystery so lets ignore her. But the shifting between ganger and human, I mean, if you have one ganger, and one human, how come the human can temporarily turn into the ganger and vice versa? You can't have two actual humans for the same person. Anyway, overall a very good episode, really intriguing. Oh wait, I forgot about the pregnancy scan thing. Again, after what we saw in the opening two parter, just as mysterious as the eye-patch lady, Amy shifting between positive and negative. So yes, overall a very good episode, some stuff I didn't fully comprehend yet. I'll probably need to watch it again, trying to understand some of the parts. I can't wait for the second part. I give it a 9.5.moreless

In the first of a two-parter, the doctor tries to mediate between a group of humans and their dopplegangers.

This is a pretty interesting episode in that there is no clear enemy, though I think the humans here are being pretty stupid, just assuming the dopplegangers are evil. The doctor and his companions arrive at a facility where humans are being cloned, soon teh dopplegangers become self-aware and begin to rebel. The doctor desperatly tries to negotiate a piece between the two sides but it all falls apart when some some stupid human decides to kill one of the dopplegangers for no good reason. The episode also ends on a good cliffhanger when we find that a doppleganger of the doctor has also been created, can't wait for the conclusion next week.moreless
