The opening title sequence shows a still of each of the Doctors in sequence, captioned with the iteration played, the name of the actor, and the period during which he starred in the show. As the narration begins, we see, in sequence, the eleventh Doctor, an inset sequence of the first ten Doctors, the TARDIS, the eleventh Doctor, the tenth Doctor, an inset of the ninth Doctor, then the ninth Doctor with Rose Tyler, companions Amy Pond, Captain Jack Harkness, Martha Jones, River Song and Mickey Smith, enemies a Dalek, a Weeping Angel, a Cyberman and Sontarans, Amy Pond and Rory Williams, an inset of the eleventh Doctor then the eleventh Doctor with Clara Oswald, Clara Oswald, and the eleventh Doctor.
