    • TRIVIA (2)

      • The Daleks attempting to enter the Exxilon city after the Doctor and Bellal use their "computer scan" to decipher the symbols on the outside wall. It's odd that they still have the use of computers when all machinery is drained of power. The Daleks only have movement available to them thanks to their "psychokinetic power."

      • Equipment Visible: When the city root attacks at the mining pit, the wires holding it up are visible.

    • QUOTES (1)

    • NOTES (1)

      • To give the Daleks mobility over the sandy out-door terrain, small railway tracks kept out of the cameras view which the Dalek props ran on were used. This was not with out its problems as the daleks would run out of control down slopes and topple over. In one scene in this episode the railway tracks can be seen on camera just before the city root appears at the area where the daleks are digging.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • The Doctor: A hit. Yes, a palpable hit.
Said when the tentacle monster is attacking the Dalek. This is a paraphrasing of Osric's line, "A hit, a very palpable hit", said as Hamlet and Laertes are duelling during Act 5, scene 2 of Hamlet.
