Continuity: Throughout the serial, the TARDIS controls are flagrantly inconsistent. The big red knob is used both to open the door and to activate the chameleon circuit, while other levers and buttons are also used to open the door.

Revealing Mistakes: Tom Baker's voice is out of synch with his mouth during the first console room scene. (This has been fixed on the New Beginnings DVD.)

The Master is up to his old tricks and shrinks Tegan's auntie and a policeman to death in this episode (although how many viewers recognised his 'trademark' is debatable given that he'd only used it on two previous occasions).
