    • Jo mentions that she had her uncle pull some strings to get Cliff's group UN funding and that it's "the second time" she's done it. The first time of course, was in Terror of the Autons, in which she pulled strings to get into UNIT in the first place.

    • Revealing Mistake: In the climax, not one but two heavy consoles move as Stevens frantically operates the controls.

    • Both the BBC website and the DVD commentary claim that the first tune BOSS hums is Wagner. In fact, it is Beethoven's violin concerto.

    • Other Mistake: A shot of the brown fungus rolling between two maggots is repeated.
