    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Revealing Mistake: It's quite obvious that the bookshelves in the library are photographs, not real.

      • Plot Hole: Zoe, a supposed mathematical genius, bungles a sum. If the Master wrote 5,000 words a week for 25 years, he would have written 6.5 millions words, not half a million.

      • A rather obvious stunt: when Zoe is fighting the Karkus, she is supposed to be flipping him over her shoulder. She throws her arms down, he hesitates a moment and then does a somersault onto the ground.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • (The Doctor and Zoe arrive at the Master's citadel.)
Zoe: Well, we can't just ring the bell and ask to go in.
The Doctor: Well, why not? It's the usual way.

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Charles Hamilton (Frank Richards): The Master is based heavily on this writer of boys' comics, including the one he flashes at the Doctor. The Guinness Book of Records recognizes him as the world's most prolific author.
