Ive almost finished it and think its amazing everything hes been through and the family as well. Also i had heard that he was a convicted murderer but didnt know any of the details i have now found out that its pretty much a bs conviction because of the way the law is in that state. Im in the UK and i know he wouldnt have been convicted of murder one over here - also the whole thing with Beths arrest record from what ive read she didnt intentially go out and do anything she was just a really stupid 19 yr old. He speaks openly about his kids and ex wives his drug addiction and his family life. Its an amazing book and im glad i bought it.

I have purchased it. I have it sitting here even. However, I need to finish the Cornwell book I'm reading first.

I finished reading it a couple of weeks ago it was brilliant and it didn't take a long time for me to read. It goes a long way to explaining some things and also why dog is the way he is.

I know what my next book to read will be. It's good that it clears up some stuff that people get confused with.

I've read it and it was a good read, the only problem I had was that some of the people she got the names wrong. When you watch the ep of Dog going back to his home town and meeting his old friends you see the mistakes that were made in names ect.

I totally agree with everybody. This book is fantastic, and im only half way through it, and it just keeps getting better. When im reading it im just thinking to myself "God, he went through a lot and came out fine after it all" - he is true inspiration.

One of the best books I have EVER read in my life. It was truly inspirational. It really made me cry when he spoke about his Mother's death. I didn't want the book to end.

It was actually better than Slash's (Guns N Roses) autobiography and I thought nothing could even come close.

20/10. HIGHLY recomended to any Dog fan.

He is a felon (murder) and should not be held up as a role model. He puts on a good front when the cameras are around. He can not carry a weapon because of his conviction from Texas. If a family member had a weapon in a vehicle. He could be charged as a con. felon on poss. of a weapon. This is why the others do not carry . Out of his 12 children, the only one to finish high school. Is the one taken away from Beth by defacs .He has been sued several times . Like the racial comments.
