Heroin addict Eugene is the fugitive of the day. Eugene and Beth share a heart to heart about Beth's first husband. But will she be able to talk some sense into him? Meanwhile it is Leland's birthday and he is not in the best of moods. His fear of a "birthday surprise" practical joke fades when Dog and Beth present him with a piece of banana cake. The softer side of Beth!

In this fast paced episode the crew is after a heroin addict. This is the first time I remember seeing a softer side to Beth. She goes into detail about her for husband who was also an addict. She begs and pleads with Eugene to get help. She will help him. This went a long way with me in saying they are not just there to send them to jail!

Moving on to the birthday for Leland, he thinks he gets off scott free with no surprises. Little does he know it is all a fake out! Dad and Beth are planning something big. Leland takes it hook, line, and sinker. They get Leland out early in the morning to go after a "fugitive". Meanwhile dad and Beth are setting him up for a big birthday surprise.

The Birthday Surprise is a huge hit and just as fast paced at the real bounty.

SURPRISE!

Overall a great episode that goes into Beth's past as show a softer side. And also balances out buy showing the fun side! Enjoy!
