    Dog Chapman and Beth Smith have been together for years and have children together. They have been referred to as husband and wife since the show began. However, this must have been a common law relationship, because this episode brings us their formal wedding.

    Dog's big and rambunctious family gathers around to start the celebrations. It's a joyous day, with gorgeous Hawaii and its stunning weather as the setting.

    Sadly, the family must deal with the death of Dog's daughter prior to the wedding. Barbara Katy Chapman lost her life in a car accident.

    Although the memory is fresh in their minds, the Chapmans still commemorate the new marriage as one of love and togetherness.

    If anyone can show you the power of unity, it would be these people.moreless

    The soul chooses the path and the heart leads the way and, in every direction, Duane and Beth are true to both. Their wedding ceremony was indeed a celebration, a sharing of love, respect and more than anything else, laughter. You saw the romance between them, the appreciation for each other, the gift of their commitment that all needs will be genuinely taken care of. I have witnessed many unions over the years, but not one even comes close to the beauty of Duane and Beth's affection for their long-standing friendship, their passion for their children and a continued dedication to celebrate life.moreless
