Dogs Head Bay from the Australian Broadcasting System debuted in 1999 and ran for 13 episodes. The series was written by well-known Australian playwright David Williamson. Gary Sweet portrayed the main character Alex Santorini. Santorini is a front page frequenting criminal lawyer who, with his spoiled wife and son, invest in a weekend home in a peaceful coastal community. With their marriage on the rocks and forced to mingle with the locals the trying family turns the once peaceful retreat town upside down.
