  • Basically a lot of people I know in my age group, dont know this program very well, or not at all. I think thats a shame, this little gem was a personal favourite of mine and people should get past the bad feeling and have a go with it!moreless

Ok so I'll start off with a little nostalgia... Basically for many years I kept remembering about a certain show or something with a girl with an umbrella in good weather (which always confused me as a kid) and a dark house. There was also a piece of music (which turned out to be from a completley different program from my youth Ulysses 31 but anyway). It really annoyed me as to what it was, and it wasnt until I brought the Dogtanian DVD set that i found out where it was from. And i was amazed I must say..

Anyway, its unlikey that meant anything to you, but it was just some background. Dogtanian was a show that was on when I was VERY young. How young I dont know but hey. Basically its a retelling of the Three Musketeers (a favourite book/movie of mine) but with little of the undesirable qualities. Oh yea,and all the characters are now animals. It sounds odd, but to me it works. It goes through the story pretty faithfully I'd say considering (im not sure of the details its been a while since i read the book) and is quite a refreshing watch. Maybe this may just be because I am Biased, as it was a childhood fav. of mine, or maybe jut because I like the story and idea. Its rather funny at times, and is a good lighthearted watch when youre feeling down, and want something not too deep to eatch but is entertained. Regretaby I feel too many people brand it as being merely a silly childrens show not worth their time. Maybe this is so, but if people just gave it a go then they may get a few hours of a pleasent surprise.

Well thank you and goodnight, from my first review. Im still working on my technique.moreless
