The thing is, if people don't like the show, they don't like it and that's that. If they're not watching it, they're not watching it and that means that, comparitively, not many people like it. That's just the way it is. People won't watch things they don't like and I think the ratings well and truly reflect it. It certainly IS a pity that they are so low and that the show was cancelled but to just blame Fox is silly in my opinion because there are so many, many other factors, particularly the mighty dollar and advertising revenue in general.

I'd like to see Joss have another hit on his hands at some point and lets hope he does but maybe recycling his actors is his shows is a bad idea because they have all been so closely associated with his big hits, "Buffy" and "Angel". He needs a new direction and some new blood and he certainly has the talent to make it happen so fingers crossed for the future.

I really liked the 5 last episodes of season 2. Maybe FOX for once will be smart and revive this show! And while they're at it, they can also pick up Kyle XY.

I really want to know the ratings for the past couple episodes, especially Getting Closer.

Does that include people who recorded it on their DVR. It probably doesn't help that FOX aired it on Friday nights when everyone is usually out and about.

Yeah that's been the usual consensus on part of the reason why it failed.

Save Dollhouse! I have a very in-depth 10 step surefire plan to save the show.

    Step 1: Acquire a TARDIS.

We'll discuss steps 2-10 when one of you coughs up the goods. I'd get one, but my apartment complex has banned technology from any further than the Oort Cloud.

I don't live in the Americas, but DVR doesn't count. i saw a tweet from Ian Somerhalder about that. And Fox has been REALLY nice to Dollhouse- i think they felt bad about their treatment of firefly. i'm pretty sure that season 1 ended with around 2 million viewers (which is very low), but they still let him not only CREATE but AIR an entire second season. so Fox: i thank you for at least having the respect to let this happen. and Joss: MOVE TO HBO OR SOMETHING! and quick-like.

It's true, FOX was nice to keep Dollhouse for a second season.

That being said, wouldn't it be nice i they acted with integrity, and aired shows of actual merit, rather than acting of greed, and only aired shows that they felt were more lucrative? *sigh* oh the world we live in. Where artistic expression is limited to how profitable the actual art is.
