Hello, and a warm welcome to all who wish to join in on this thread.

The Dollhouse Official Off-Topic Thread is the place to be for some light, friendly, off-topic conversation. It's a great way to meet new people, let off steam, and interact a bit more personally within the Dollhouse fanbase.

This thread, on the other hand... is bit more niche. Like a "Monkeys Who Eat Cereal" club. This thread is a testament both to the ability to develop a close group of friends from around the world via the wonders of modern technology, and to TV.com's commitment to a strong, active (no pun intended) community.

The Dollhouse off-topic thread was caught in a whirlwind. There were 10-15 users all actively talking in it each and every day. Naturally, after enough time of this, a few inside jokes developed, and the post count went higher... and higher... and higher. It had gotten to the point where "it would hit critical mass in another week or so and collapse into a singularity." This was great for a little TV.com community between the users who participated, but worries arose that it was intimidating to the average user. In such an immense and rapidly-flowing river of posts, a user new to the thread might have looked at it and felt going in would be like a baby bird leaping from its nest to fly for the first time... in a thundering hailstorm.

While doing our best to be inviting, perhaps the post count and rapid pace overrode that, which was certainly never an intention. This thread was the solution. A place where the more tight, established TV.com Dollhouse community could continue their socializing as they enjoyed it, without twisting the Dollhouse Official Off-Topic Thread into something it wasn't quite meant to be. This thread is faster and a bit more insane, so if that suits you, feel free to join in. Now the Dollhouse Official Off-Topic Thread can be the relaxed meeting place of fans it was meant to be, without the death of the close-knit community it created.

Once again, may I say that any user who feels the desire to post here is welcome and encouraged to do so.

Rules: Post as you like, no lurking/waiting for the end, 3000th post wins.

And now, let the Dollhouse LPW commence:

    History:
Dollhouse LPW #001 - All Your Secret Base Are Belong to Us!
Dollhouse LPW #002 - lazyjay: Not that old yet!
Dollhouse LPW #003 - buffyTVSrox: Jay totally is that old!
Dollhouse LPW #004 - buffyTVSrox II: This is what you get for posting that much!
Dollhouse LPW #005 - fatfreeoreos: She totally should have won Buffy LPW 29 too!
Dollhouse LPW #006 - Doug & the slug 3: bug a rug / Isa is NOT pronounced EYE-sa! GEEZ PEOPLE!

    Current:
Dollhouse LPW #007 - Svooey: Eliza, a turtle, and LHNSS

Cool beans people!! Congrats again Kat, Nice shiny new thread Doug.
Hopefully I can keep up with this one..seventh one now, huh? We're moving right along. Getting ready to leave for work here in about an hour or so..hopefully today goes smoother than it did on Saturday.

I'm really hoping that if that mean lady works today that I don't have to work right alongside her, because she'll turn your hair gray, and drive you to drink. Which I did go home on Sat. night and do, had a drink, I needed it.

Is anybody else's tv dot glitching? It shows I have a message, but when I click on it, it tells me I don't have any messages. Then when I put the mouse over my name, and instead of a drop down menu of my shows it doesn't show my shows. Argh, stupid glitches.

Thanks again. I think I'm most proud 'cause it's an odd number . And tv.com is glitching all over the place, especially with the forums. It's off and on, so be cautious and copy every post before hitting submit in case it gets lost.

Have you tried numerous glares at the annoying employee? Sometimes they'll get the hint that way....or just beat the crap out of you .

Yeah, they're doing some maintenance at the moment and things are disappearing and reappearing.

    Have a good day.

That seems like a high-risk strategy if you ask me.

What's this significance with the number 11? I know you're dying to tell us all.

Ugh, no! This one was a fluke. I was highly amused by Nasty's "too soon" winning post and had to call him on it. He's the only reason I even realized we were close anyway .

I will have nothing to do with 11. Why you wish this upon me, woman...

Well I hate the way you love it. It's disgusting. Some unreinforcible, weak garbage that should be replaced. (Not you, the number)

Thanks for all the explanations about everything, I mucho appreciate it!

She's a frail old lady, I can't knock her out, plus, violence at work, not an image I'd like to exude onto others... I try really hard to hold my tongue and not say anything, but after years of torture in elementary and junior high school, it's time for me to stand up for myself..I know, these people I'm encountering now don't know what I went thru in my past, so it's not their fault, but I don't want to be walked all over.

She didn't know, but she was pushing my buttons, and it took A LOT for me not to say anything mean and nasty to her...so I waited til I came home and let loose a string of colorful words...and I felt sorta better.

What would you replace the number 11 with? A picture of a monkey eating a banana? Or cereal perhaps?

Might have a dramatic impact on the world of mathematics.

Just a stronger number that wouldn't be so easily swayed.

    Thanks .

And Eleni, I wouldn't beat up an old woman. It's just tacky no matter which way you swing it .
