    Maybe she IS Debbie Downer.

    Who is Debbie Downer?

    Who is Debbie Downer?

Debbie Downer is a chick off of a Saturday Night Live skit, she brought everybody down with her pessimism and bad stories. Everyone was celebrating something at Disney Land and she would mention herself not being able to have babies or her dog dying or something like that. I haven't seen the skit in ages.

    Oh that was absolutely hilarious.

This was the best episode to date as far as I am concerned.
Great fight scene even if a little long.
Wonderful Alpha moment. Surprised the heck out of me.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but I think Ballard is obsessed with freeing 'Caroline' because he was somehow, at least partialy, responsible for her disappearance. I am getting this feeling from the flashes Echo was having during the fight. Did anyone else get that impression?

    Ha!

I just noticed this cute/funny foreshadowing moment...

OK, so stoner Alpha freaks out to Ballard about walking on stairs without risers because a hand might reach between the stairs and grab him... When Ballard and Boyd are fighting on the stairs, Echo (who's hiding beneath the staircase) reaches up between the stairs to grab Ballard's foot and trip him. It's just a little silliness, but so funny nonetheless.

That's all. Just a funny little thing I noticed. Go back to your internet, I'll be over here if you need me.

BTW did anyone else kinda get a Spike/Dru vibe from Alpha/Echo at the end?

Same! I was rewatching the end cause I loved it so much and I was like "This reminds me of something.." and then it hit me. The way Echo called him her "prince" reminded me of Dru calling herself a princess in School Hard and Eliza's mannerisms in the elevator totally had a Dru vibe and stuff.

The slow motion walking out of the elevators with their hands over each other was it for me

I just realized something about Alpha in stoner mode, he kinda knew bit too much about the Dollhouse's computer system, didn't he? I mean, for a supposed environmental expert. But then again, I'd just chalk that up to another totally blatant clue that I managed to miss because Alan rocked the character.

And so it's Alpha who has been giving Ballard all those messages (Echo, November) from "within" the Dollhouse, right?

I don't know, but his capabilities really astound me...because when Ballard was looking up information, and he ran across the Keppler that designed the Dollhouse, we saw a picture of Alpha, instead of the real Keppler, so Alpha made it out in the computer systems that he's this Keppler guy...so he could've been pulling strings, instilling information, and doings loads of things that seem to boggle our minds.

I'm beginning to think that's the whole point of this show. And I like it. I'll gladly line up to be boggled. I really hope BOX will let the boggling continue.

I did kinda get that Spru vibe too. And I liked that they followed through on that riser joke. Didn't think they actually would.
