Then what else is a person?
Soooo much more. Without getting into all the religious stuff of what makes a person a person.
The combination of chemical processes that define a personality, mood, etc. The way the neurons fire, too much or too little of certain hormones, etc etc. Your personality and behavior are not only governed by what your brain says, but also by how your body interprets what your brain says, and even that changes on certain days and certain times. Like someone else said, she was technically a clone. Not the original person herself.
Again, they trod way too lightly on something as game-changing as eternal life. I can accept the Dollhouse savinga good amount of info on certain personality traits/memories to give to a new active, but backing up an entire person is just inane. It would require lots and lots of memory space in a computer. It's even hypothesized to be infinite...
I just thought it was such a campy way of introducing such complex subject matter.
No...I think Alpha was the one sending him info on Echo. I think Ballard is just beating himself up about having Angry Sex with Mellie, knowing she's a doll. It makes him feel like the clients he hates, so he hates himself.
Yeah that's the impression I got too.
I don't think he's Alpha either.
I feel kinda bad for him. I wanted him and Mellie to be happy.
this eppy bored me to death. I could care less about some friend of Adelle that got murdered and had to find the killer. It was like some old episode of murder she wrote with a supernatural twist. How did she and Adelle know each other anyway. The old chick's husband was hot though.
Once again Eliza's acting seemed a bit forced and up and down. The best part of this whole episode was the Ballad and Mellie love scene, now that was hot! If Ballard turns out to be alpha that would be the most awesomest thing ever!
I still can't stand topher. He is an annoying, egotistical, nerdy douche bag!
Where is everyone getting the idea that Ballard could be Alpha? I haven't gotten that impression at all.
