One of the best episodes of season 2.

One of the best episodes indeed. When I started watching this episode my first thought was, two hours, this is going to be painful. To my pleasant surprise the two hours went by like nothing, a very entertaining episode. More like these and Dollhouse should be removed from the terminal list.

Uh, it isn't on the terminal list. It's in the morgue.

Okay, admittedly, I've been falling of the Dollhouse wagon recently because a lot of the established protocols from season one have just gone out of the window and the show hasn't shown me much consistency, but I did like these two episodes. I AM confused about one thing though, what exactly is a Doll version of one's self?

A Doll version of oneself is everything that is buried beneath the surface brought forward. Some things may be added in but it is essentially the same person, just modified.

Sounds kind of screwy, but thanks for the explanation.

They tampered a few aspects of his personality. For example, addin plenty of ambition. Kind of like he went to a reform school very quickly and then forgot about it.

I liked the episode in general but I saw the twist coming with Alexis and that bothered me a bit because I would rather not have seen it and been surprised. Maybe I'm just seeing dolls coming out of the woodwork in general. I agree with Adam, I think Alexis is a terrific actor but he doesn't do it for me as the senator. As to the fact that he looks quite a bit different, he suffers from Bell's Palsy on one side of his face and they had to be careful with filming angles for Dollhouse and other stuff because of that.

Overall, apart from "Epitaph One", I still feel that this season is much better than the first one and Eliza has definitely improved heaps.

That twist was like...whoa. There was some profanity though when it went to commercial break, but darn this was one of my favorite from the season.

I knew Alexis had Bell's Palsy but I didn't know that it was an ongoing condition. It's mentioned in the commentary for the Angel season five premiere that they had to film him from certain angles, which is noticeable, but I thought it had cleared up or something after that because you never notice it again. I had no idea he still had it.

Okay I actually just looked him and Bell's Palsy up and it says that he recovered from it.

Agreed, that was such an awesome line.
