Darcy, you should apply to be the new pope just so you can say they officially rejected you like the FBI.

We should all block/report the person with the username so their account will get suspended and you can have it.
Does that happen? Like ... we all block/report person X then person X loses their account and person Y (Vicountess) can claim it?

OMG. But I feel like so many people would do that that you wouldn't even get a letter, instead they'd just send you some automated email that you couldn't even frame.

If this harebrained plan works I will absolutely get on Twitter.

I think if they're blocked by more people than the number of followers they have they get suspended, but I'm not sure. And if they do lose their account she would have to wait a few days for the name to become available again.

Love that movie! Bonus points for David Bowie as Tesla.

So, my life is pretty much the same.

    The headlines:

My mom is getting her knee replaced on March 7th. This involves way more pre-op tests than you might think and loads of me driving back and forth to Chicago to chauffeur her.

I work at a Target now. It's actually been really great. There's good employee appreciation, I'm not stuck at minimum wage, and my coworkers and I have really bonded and become a great little team. I come in at 4am most mornings, help sort all the crap unloaded from the truck, and then stock it until we're all done, which has been any time from 8:30am to as late as 2:00pm. Coffee has been keeping me alive. I have it with stevia because I was drinking so much sugar via coffee that it kind of made having quit soda moot. Oh, and I just made Team Member of the month and got a round of applause from all my coworkers! So much better than my last job at that sh!thole County Market.

I'm still working my way through Doctor Who, which is a gargantuan (though enjoyable) task. Classic Who has 26 seasons and movie, and then there's the extended universe (which is generally considered as canon as the show), which includes lots of audio radio-style plays voiced by the Classic Doctors and their companions, of which there's more stories of than all of New Who and Classic Who combined and they're still making more. I've become so obsessed with Doctor Who. It's pushed Farscape to my third-favorite show and taken over as second (Buffy will always be first, so many layers).

I'm also trying (and mostly failing) to stay up to date on Bones, Supernatural, Community, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Project Runway, Face Off, Once Upon a Time, The Office, Homeland, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, True Blood, and so many other shows I don't even remember. I still haven't watched past season one of Nikita; it's kinda chilling on my back burner. I'm also watching through 24 for the first time, almost done with season one, and about to start a first-time viewing of the original Star Trek series. And I'm doing a Buffy rewatch.
Fringe is done and the finale made me cry and the final season brought the show full-circle so wonderfully and now that you can watch the whole thing start-to-finish you should all go do that.

And in case anyone needs incentive to watch Classic Who (Doctor Who from 1963-1989, 1996), may I present a photograph of the character Sergeant John Benton, a U.N.I.T. soldier and companion (mainly to the Third Doctor but he was with Two and Four as well).

    I rest my case.

Also, my mother got me some cardboard stand-ups for Christmas including one of Buffy.

Totally useless as presents go, but needless to say, I love them tons.

    They are great, Doug.

Now you can kill Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Tennant and replace them with cardboard cutouts.

    If you wanted to.

Haven't seen either movie. Both looked kind of boring.

Spironolactone to block the effects of androgens (mostly testosterone) and estradiol (an estrogen) and oh my goodness, I can't properly describe how good I feel... it's kinda like taking antidepressants that actually work! Friday will be 2 weeks!

    Thank you, Jenna!!

I think it's interesting that you posted that exactly to the minute the same time that I arrived at my trans support group meeting tonight, 10 minutes late! Are you spying on me?
