This is so annoying... when does Dollhouse air in Australia?

    I hate Australian TV so much. First Dollhouse is bought by channel Ten (free-to-air channel), then it is sold to FOX8 (cable channel that costs per month). Fine, that's somewhat bearable. But now I can't actually find any information on when they will be airing it on FOX8. It could be a month, or even six months. And I don't think I can wait that long, especially when there is no set date I can find, even now, on when it will be aired.

    Is there any legal way I can purchase and/or watch Dollhouse episodes (when I live outside the US), shortly after they are aired? I'm guessing not, but it's worth an ask.

    Also - how long after a TV season has ended does the DVD come usually out? A month, or is it sometimes less?

    If Dollhouse's season ends in April/May around when all the other shows do, then it'll probably be out on DVD by like August/September. But I'm not sure how this season will work, like if it will be on over the Summer and actually end in August/September. I don't really know how the American-TV-system works.

    I wouldn't wait for the DVD. I'll PM you the link to watch Dollhouse.

    Yeah I wouldn't bother waiting for that. I live in the UK, I'd be waiting forever if I waited for shows to air here

    Yeah, Hulu is a way to go that is kinda legal but not I guess. If you want to watch it on Hulu though you will need to install VPN software like Hotspot Shield. This will pass the data through a US server, allowing Hulu viewing for those outside the US.

    I saw the same ad, but your right - that could mean anytime during 2009. I mean they were also promoting Chuck in the ad which was meant to start airing mid January but didn't so I'm not holding my breath and trying to find Dollhouse anywhere online.

    Be grateful Ten aren't running it, you would see the premiere @ 2am on a Monday morning in 2012; you know the same sort of thing they did to Galactica and Torchwood!

    You know how they say" comming January 13" or whenever, I was watching Priveleged the other night, and something was starting March 12th. Then after that it said" Also comming March 12" Then like a mannequin comming out of like kinda a white coating? It's hard to explain, but It looked like Dollhouse. I'm not 100% thoguh.

    Hi everyone. I'mnot sure if you have seen the ads but you can find FOX8's trailer for Dollhouse here. It premieres on Tuesday the 9th of June after Australia's Next Top Model at 8.30pm.

    Yep that's correct. If you watch Fox8 at around 5-11, they show at least 2 Dollhouse ads an hour. Even on Arena, they've been advertising Dollhouse on Fox8 too. And the ads are epic. All the Fox8 ads are really great.

    That trailer is amazing. I mean our ones are quite good but that is so much better. If I had no idea about Joss or the show and seen that, I'd wanna watch so bad.

    DAMMIT! I just wrote a really long reply and then the page decided it felt like refreshing itself

    I think what I said was, that not only are the trailers here great, (and Twisted I agree with you that I would so watch it), but the timing is really really good. They're showing the ads excessively during shows like Kyle XY and TSCC. Watchers of those shows are definitely gonna be drawn into Dollhouse based on that ad. Especially Kyle XY. I watched an episode of that a couple of days ago coz I wanted to see some more Dollhouse ads (I saw two) and the premise of that episode was kinda similar. There was a chair and memories and blankness and it was all very Dollhouse-y. Kinda lamer though

    There was this one very small ad they put it during Gossip Girl recently, where it was a static-y camera, looking down on Adelle and Caroline sitting at the table and it's all silent, with the quality of the camera getting shaky every now and then, and then Adelle hands Caroline a glass and says "Nothing is what it appears to be" and then more static and the screen flashes to white and the words "soon" ... "FOX8" flash on the screen. It was epic.
