Daddy's Girl was a perfect episode of Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 and I really enjoyed watching. There was a lot of humor, character and plot development. This show is different and yet familiar which makes for a great mix. It was hilarious to see just how sociopathic Chloe can be when she sets up June with Scott who happens to also be her father. James Van Der Beek was funny and I like his little competition in his mind with James Franco! Robin is also funny and provided some good laughs. I certainly look forward to watching the next episode and to see how this series develops!!!!!!!!!
I thought the pilot was okay, but the followup episode just comes off as so generic. That's why this show had some appeal, it was not terribly cliched, but the entire premise with the father was something straight out of any sitcom from the last 30 years.
Chloe had some funny lines, but if this is the standard for the show it won't last very long.
