  • What a way to celebrate Dora's 10th year on television with this double-length special and to remember all the adventures she and her friends had in the past seasons.

    7.0
It is Dora's birthday, and she and Boots need to get back home for the celebration. When Dora and Boots get stuck in the magical storybook, they think about all the adventures they had over the past 10 years (ever since the show first aired on Nickelodeon) using their magic crystal. They wander through Wizzle World in search of the Wishing Wizzle to wish them back home to get to Dora's birthday party with her family and friends (her familia y amigos).

Many of you Dora fans may already know those recaps seen throughout this special, but it's sometimes hard to try and wrap your memory around all the episodes and what happened in each one in the series. The only part of the episode that really pained me the most is when La Bruja (the mean witch) broke the wishing crystal and the Wishing Wizzle couldn't wish Dora and Boots back home. In the end, however, Dora discovers that friendship and love are the strongest powers of all to make her wish come true. I must add that the greatest friend she's had on all her adventures were all the viewers and fans who have ever watched Dora's adventures in the past decade.

What a way for Nickelodeon to honor Dora's 10th year on television with this special musical birthday special. Feliz desimo anniversario, Dora! This means, "Happy 10th anniversary, Dora!" in Espaniol. I wonder what adventures Dora will have in the next 10 years if they decide to produce new shows.moreless
