Doug: So They Never Kissed?

If you watch the bonus feature that comes on the VHS of Doug's 1st Movie (yeah, VHS is lame, but it hasn't been released on DVD, let alone Blu-Ray), even Jim Jinkins says the number one most frequently asked question about Doug is, "When is Doug going to kiss Patty?" But he ducks out and refuses to answer the question. Considering Doug got a feature-length film, that would've been a great time for them to kiss, but they didn't, and as far as I know there haven't been any new Doug projects ever since.

So Doug and Patty never kissed? After that episode where they almost-almost-almost kissed, I have to say I'm still frustrated about this even after all these years.

And yes, I know there was a fantasy sequence where Patty kissed Doug on the cheek, but fantasy sequences don't count.

No they don't kiss, ever, ever.

The last episode of the Disney Doug Patti says she will ask Doug out on a "real" Date, I guess suggesting that their relationship would go from being "just friends" to boyfriend/girlfriend but it is never confirmed on screen, and they never kiss.

It did not bother me too much UNTIL the Doug movie extras and Jinkin's ducked out of the question. If that many people wanted it, they should have done it either in the movie or the last episode.

When I first saw the episode where Doug took Patti out to the movies, I really thought that they were going to kiss when he took her home. I guess Patti was even more nervous about it than Doug was.

Sadly, they never kissed throughout the series. Which is sad since this is something I've been wanting to see.

Yeah, they never really kissed during the series... That's sad, specially because in that Monalisa episode from Disney's Doug it's implied that she kissed Guy Graham instead, while they where training for the play.
