Jonathan tells Ben that he's going out with Denise, and gives Ben a number to reach him. He asks Ben if he's going out, to which Ben replies that he is not. Jonathan expresses concern at Ben's lack of socializing. Ben says that he does have plans, and that he is going to shave his body hair.
Jonathan, at the bar, expresses his concerns to Julie and Stanley about Ben's lack of a social life. Jonathan asks both Stanley and Julie about how they heard about sex. Jonathan remembers that he did give Ben a book called "Everybody's Got a Tushy" when he was younger.
In the Kitchen, Ben and Jonathan talk about last night's date. Ben expresses concern that Denise is too young, but Jonathan doesn't see a problem.
Ben calls the operator in Santa Fe and looks for his old girlfriend Karen Duris.
Jonathan goes out on another day, and asks Ben if he has any plans. Ben says that he has work to do around the house.
The next day, Ben drops by the office and talks to Laura about his new idea for a job, but she doesn't seem especially interested. He explains that he wants to grow plants using hydroponics.
Jonathan tells Laura that she needs to come up with a new filing system, one that uses computers.
Ben announces that he has a date with his fourth-grade classmate Penelope. Jonathan is pleased, but tells Ben to remember safe sex.
