Dr. Katz

The episode begins with Ben and Jonathan making breakfast. Jonathan wonders aloud as to when the last time was that Ben washed his pants. As the two of them continue to get dressed, they get a call from Laura, saying she's not going to be at work today because she has errands to do, such as getting her watch fixed. Jonathan suggests Ben go in and work at the office for the day. After a long discussion, the two of them decide that Ben won't come in, as Jonathan does not want to train her.

Later in the day, Ben tells his father that things sound tense at the office, and that perhaps Jonathan's relationship with Laura is not very good.

At the bar, Stanley gives advice on how Jonathan can improve his relationship with Laura. He suggests that the two of them get together and scream as a bonding activity.

The next day, at the office, Jonathan gives Laura the title of "Administrative Assistant," as a way of making her happier. She comments that this new title really is the same job as receptionist. Jonathan suggests that the whole company has party, which she points out would only include the two of them.

That night, Jonathan tells Ben that he's realized there's no problem at the office between himself and Laura.

Laura enters the office at night, and notices that the office has been covered with Christmas decorations, and that Jonathan is playing his guitar. Jonathan tries to talk to Laura, who doesn't seem to be interested in the party. After Laura leaves, Jonathan talks with Ben, who has since arrived. With just the two of them at the Christmas party, they sing some Christmas carols.
